Happy New Year

Hello my friends!!!! I am back this year and ready to go!! I have missed visiting this place regularly! I was hoping the New Year would bring a new perspective on life. A way to slow down, smell the roses. Well, it hasn’t yet. And I have come to the conclusion that it’s ok!!

As I sit here by the glow of my Christmas tree, I have decided that I am going to make 2016 the year that I make myself happy. And you know what, my Christmas tree makes me happy. I feel that if there is snow on the ground, the twinkly lights can stick around.

So, since it’s been so long I think a little recap is in order! We did a lot over the Holidays!!!

  1. We (I) decided to have a Christmas party at our house this year. Which then kickstarted us (me) to get our bathroom done. And we finally finished!!! Still a few more things to add, but the hard part is done!!! I will show pics soon!!
  2. We went on an amazing family vacation to Mexico for Christmas. Guys, Puerta Vallarta is such an incredible place. I can’t recommend it enough. Plus, Southwest flies there now, which is soooo much better!! I have tons a pics to share…but here is a sneak peek 😉

3. We had a great New Year’s Eve with friends, and headed to our lake house for the weekend. My parents just added an entire floor onto the house and it was the first time we had seen it finished. I didn’t think that it could get better, I was wrong!

I am so excited about all of the posts I have swirling around in my head!! But today I will leave you with a simple “Happy New Year.”

and also, Happy Hump day!!!

xoxo
