Guys, we made it. Friday. Ahhhhh just saying it makes me feel a little bit lighter. This week has been a doozy. My hubs started getting sick last Thursday, and finally started feeling better around Monday, and I got sick on Sunday and I am just now feeling like myself again. I have never had a cold that bad. It was so bad my nose was actually swollen. I looked like I got punched in the face. No bueno. Luckily I am feeling better just in time for the weekend! Hooray!
Anywho, since we are mid way through the first month of this new year, I have been reflecting on the goals I made a few weeks ago. I didn’t share them with you guys… because if I failed…I didn’t want to have to share that awkward post. People pleaser probs. So I am just going to tell you what I have accomplished 🙂
- I joined weight watchers on January 4th. I have officially lost 6 and a half pounds in just 11 days. Weight Watchers has always been the best program for me. We are on the go so much…I have to be able to be flexible with what I eat. It always makes it easier to keep going when I see results so quickly!
- Blogging more frequently…this is my second post this week!! I feel like that’s a step in the right direction.
So I only had two goals. I don’t like to over commit myself 🙂
I am also starting a bible study this week that I am so excited about. It’s called In The Wait. These women that created this study are such an inspiration, and I can’t wait to dive in and join along! I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this community is and how much of a blessing it has been to my life.
Also on the docket for the next few weeks are some fun trips coming up!! A little lake getaway with some friends. I ski trip to New Mexico with my main man. A fun getaway to Dallas to visit some of our favorites and go to a fun concert!
January and February are shaping up to be pretty amazing!!
